Many months ago I bought a mini gelli print plate
but I never got to using it.
but I never got to using it.
Seeing all the enthusiasm on the internet about gelli printing,
and since I'm in an exploring mood at the moment,
I got out my (now dusty) plate and started working with it.
Now, I totally understand why there are so many addicts :)
But - you hear this question often - what to do with the many prints you made?
As a bookmaking lover I knew what I wanted to do with these try-out prints.

As a bookmaking lover I knew what I wanted to do with these try-out prints.
I used a big piece of paper next to my plate to clean my brayer.
This gave interesting results, so I cut up the paper
and used the pieces in my booklet as well.
Some pieces look like abstract paintings of landscapes.
See the hill, misty, in the distance,
and the clouds in the sky?
The little booklet will be covered in this brown felt
which I will probably add some embroidery and beads to.
But first it's time to pack my bags
because we're going to the south coast of the UK very soon!
xx

I recently did some book binding with coptic stitch and really loved it. Have a great holiday at the UK.AriadnefromGreece!
