It's Autumn, next to early Spring it's my favourite season. Yet we have to stay at home as much as possible because of the C-virus which is spreading like wildfire for the second time this year. I long for the woods, the long walks, smelling the earth and hearing the wind through the rustling leaves.
Lying on my belly to take photos of mushrooms.
We are not in full lockdown though. But I'm very cautious as I'm still recovering from a recent minor surgery. And I notice that I recover slowly this time. I think I've stayed indoors too long and ventured out too little since March, when the pandemic began. My health and well being are suffering from it and no doubt you can relate.
So I think I need to take up walking in the neighbourhood, at least half an hour a day.
On another note, I miss blogging. I started my blog AppleApricot in 2012 and became part of a lovely group of bloggers (mostly ladies) who loved vintage, crafts and nature. Instagram and other social media have taken the place of blogs it seems. But I still love blogging. I find it more peaceful, more like creating a little bit of a home, and I love visiting the blog homes of the lovely people I meet in blogland.
I might take up blogging again. Or I might not. In any case, if no one ever reads these posts, well, I don't mind. At least I'm having fun creating them.
xx

Hello Wen...I agree with you that blogging and visiting is a kind of balm to the world we are living in. We too are heading into COVID part 2. It will be a long winter. I love your photos and the philosophy behind your blogging...Michelle from Nature Notes..
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Michelle, for your visit and kind words. I truly hope we can get back to normal again soon. Well, at least next spring, when the new life in nature brings new hope again.
DeleteI still enjoy blogging, the writing and the visiting other people. I also love crafts, nature and vintage (and daily walks!).
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit :) I'm so happy to hear that! Off to visit you now!
DeleteThe place looks incredible. It would be my pleasure if you join my link up party related to gardening where you can share about plants and flowers here at http://jaipurgardening.blogspot.com/2020/10/garden-affair-bleeding-heart-vine.html
